I have been studying  figure drawing for about 8 years now, most recently under artists and instructors Carol Douglas, Kevin Chen, and Mark Westermoe. For the past two years, I have tried to go to at least one figure workshop a week, during which, in the words of Mark Westermoe, I practice "drawing what I see based on what I know". This has been hugely helpful with my design work.
