The film is a sensorial journey through a hyper-stylized landscape, following two recently escaped members of organized society. It explores themes of nature versus structure, freedom, and contentment. The film’s style evolved significantly during preproduction, and this page showcases some of the earliest explorations of the protagonist characters. This page shows designs that were one or two iterations away from their final look, along with some costume exploration for their makeshift clothing they fashion just after escape.
